Winter storm warning until 6pm Sunday night (tomorrow), 0 for the temp and -21 for the wind chill. An additional 1-3 inches on top of the already 5 inches we have received today. I hate this weather!
Today we had some things planned and I didn't want to have to sit inside all day and not do them...so I prepared myself...I was taking Gavin to the Burnsville Mall to have his 3 month pictures taken (he was 3 mos on the 17th). Burnsville is normally about 25 mins away...well I reached my destination 1 hour and 20 mins later! I was tired by the time I got there just from going 25-30 the whole way there! Plus I was so nervous driving Gav in this weather. So we made it there and the parking was god awful! None of it had been plowed...luckily I had Chris' truck so it was fine getting in and parking. Got out, got the stroller ready..mean while of course right when we get there it starts to snow even more..so I am trying to hurry getting Gav in the stroller and what not. Pushing the stroller up to the door was a joke! The snow was so deep I had my arms stretched out pushing with all my might and it kept getting stuck..I bet people driving by thought it was pretty funny! I was about to turn around and go home but thought that would be a waste since I am already up there. So we finally made it up to the door and everything was fine from there...thank goodness! Gav was such a nice boy during his pics...didn't cry once! Then afterwards we walked around the mall and he was so good! Just sat in his stroller and stared!
Meanwhile....Chris took Taylor on their annual XMas shopping trip today! Not the best weather...but since Christmas is in 5 days they had to. They always go to Woodbury to Petsmart to look at the pets and Taylor remembers every year that the Pet Adoption is going on during this time and there will be lots of pets to see! Then they head up to the Mall of America to finish off! I am sure she will be very tired when she gets home! They've been gone since 10 this morning!!

Last night we had Taylor's Christmas program at her school. Taylor's class (1st grade) sang two songs and at the end of the program the whole school sang a song. Taylor did such a nice job singing...she loves to sing and is so good at it! I think music is her favorite subject! When we were leaving, the music teacher patted Taylor on the back and told her she was a good leader! She was so happy :) She just gets up there and belts the words out! Taylor had a brown outfit and antlers on (her nose was painted red but she ended up wiping that off)...we were going for the Rudolph look :) Oh well!
